Inception is an action movie starring Leonardo Di Caprio. The premise of the movie is that in the near future there will be a technology that allows people to invade the dreams of others. A whole business has been created based on the fact that “dream stealers” go into others dreams to steal their ideas and secrets. Di Caprio plays Cobb, one of these thieves. But after a heist goes wrong, he gets an offer to take on an almost impossible job, once before done by him , to plant an idea in someone’s mind, also known as inception.
I thought the movie was well thought out and had an interesting concept. The movie has a semi-serious tone, and has small amounts of comedy and light-hearted moments to break up the monotony. Being an action movie, Inception has plenty of action scenes, many of which are very well done and include dream-like qualities like shifting gravity and crazy, impossible situations. The movie also has a very well paced plotline, with twists and turns everywhere.
The one bad thing about the movie is that it makes you think almost too much and can be confusing at times. Many time while watching the movie I didn’t realize what was going on until I re-watched it later. Otherwise, I think the movie was great with a good plot, great acting and excellent scenes.
